Sonic Death’s vinyl record has been published by DiG Records & Kostёr Records. Single is available for purchase from 18 April 2015 and is an “unofficial” Record Store Day release. This event is celebrated each year all around the world. For the band and for two new labels this is first vinyl release. Record was pressed in Germany.

Sonic Death is the band from Saint Petersburg who became one of the most notable and influent underground rock-bands in the country due to their feeling of melodies and catching lyrics in Russian. Their live shows are energetic and impressive and they toured Russia a lot. Sonic Death are very productive and did release plenty of stuff so far but usually as digital-releases plus some cassettes and a CD (Aphonia recordings,USA). This time it’s going to be their first vinyl release with international distribution.

This is the second release from DiG Records Store founded in 2010. DiG store always tried to help local artists to spread their music on various formats and hosted live shows and in-store gigs of different bands including Sonic Death.

Moscow-based label Kostёr Records was started by three friends in 2014. One of the label’s projects is “Flip The Record” documentary about vinyl culture in Russia. 100 hours of material featuring interviews with collectors, dj’s, sellers was shot specially for this documentary. Upcoming documentary also tells a story of DiG Store and while doing interviews with its founders Kostёr Records came up with idea to unite with DiG and start publishing records by Russian indie-bands together. Sonic Death’s single being the first split-release of two labels.

Sonic Death (Санкт-Петербург) - одна из наиболее интересных и известных андеграундных групп последних лет. Они часто дают концерты в разных городах страны и регулярно записываются, выкладывая релизы в интернете, выпустили несколько кассет и компакт-диск (Aphonia recordings, США). Впервые Sonic Death издаются на виниле. Обе песни были записаны в августе-сентябре 2014 года на студии Destroy The Humanity Studios, где группа готовит новый альбом. Две длинные композиции продолжают тему начатую на Ugly Session - вязкий, тягучий хард-рок с элементами психоделии.

Второе издание от магазина DiG, существующего с 2010 года. DiG всегда старался помогать местным артистам распространять свою музыку на разных носителях и проводил у себя живые выступления групп (в том числе Sonic Death). Это "неофициальный" релиз, приуроченный к Record Store Day (Дню музыкального магазина), который отмечается каждую третью субботу апреля по всему миру.

Kostёr Records — московский лейбл, организованный тремя друзьями в 2014 году. Один из проектов лейбла — документальный фильм о культуре винила в России «Переверни пластинку». Специально для фильма было отснято более 100 часов интервью с коллекционерами, диджеями и продавцами — в том числе, основателями магазина DiG. Во время съемок участники Kostёr Records и коллектив DiG объединились для совместного выпуска пластинок независимых русских групп. Первым релизом стал этот сингл.
